IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of our digital services, all fees paid to GetUrSnap are non-refundable once a gallery has been created and the service has been activated, except in the specific circumstances described in Section 4 below.
1. Overview
GetUrSnap provides per-event digital photography gallery services. Each plan is activated immediately upon successful payment and gallery creation. Because our service delivery begins at the point of activation — including server provisioning, media processing infrastructure, and storage allocation — we adopt a strict no-refund policy for consumed services.
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions. By purchasing any plan or add-on, you acknowledge and accept this Policy.
2. No-Refund Policy
2.1 General Rule
All payments for GetUrSnap plans and add-ons are non-refundable once the service has been activated. This applies to:
- Event Gallery Plans: Basic (₹599), Standard (₹999), and Pro (₹1,899) — non-refundable once the gallery has been created.
- Gallery Extension Add-ons: 12-Month (₹999) and 24-Month (₹1,499) — non-refundable once the extension has been applied to a gallery, regardless of whether purchased by the Photographer or a Client.
- Storage Overage Charges: Overage fees (₹12/GB for Basic, ₹10/GB for Standard, ₹9/GB for Pro) are non-refundable once storage has been consumed.
- Unused Plan Periods: No pro-rated refund is available for the unused portion of a gallery's duration.
2.2 Rationale
Digital services differ fundamentally from physical goods. Once a gallery is created, we have incurred costs including cloud storage provisioning, CDN configuration, media processing, and infrastructure allocation. These costs are not recoverable regardless of your subsequent usage.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
You may stop using GetUrSnap at any time by logging into your dashboard and choosing not to create further galleries. There is no recurring subscription — each gallery plan is a one-time per-event purchase. You do not need to cancel a subscription.
3.2 Effect of Non-Use
Purchasing a plan but not creating a gallery constitutes a non-activated service. All fees paid are non-refundable regardless of whether a gallery has been created.
3.3 Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your account, you may request deletion by contacting support@getursnap.com. Account deletion does not trigger a refund of any fees already paid. Content will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Issued
Notwithstanding the general no-refund rule, GetUrSnap will issue a full refund or credit in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Verified Service Failure by GetUrSnap
If you experience a sustained and documented service failure caused directly by GetUrSnap — including:
- Platform-wide outage exceeding 48 continuous hours during your gallery's active period
- Proven permanent loss of uploaded photos or videos due to a failure on our servers (not arising from your actions or a force majeure event)
- Inability to share a gallery with guests due to a bug in our access system, documented and unresolved for more than 7 days after reporting
...you may request a service credit or partial refund proportional to the affected period. Such requests must be submitted within 14 days of the failure.
4.2 Duplicate Charge
If you have been charged more than once for the same plan due to a payment system error, we will refund the duplicate amount in full. Please submit your payment receipts to support@getursnap.com.
4.3 Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unjustified chargebacks may result in the immediate suspension of your account and may be disputed by us with Razorpay. If a chargeback is reversed in our favour, you will be responsible for any associated fees.
5. Refund Process
Where a refund is approved under Section 4, the following process applies:
- Channel: Refunds are processed through Razorpay to your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, or wallet).
- Timeline: 5–7 business days after approval for standard refunds. Your bank's processing time may add 2–5 additional days.
- Currency: All refunds are in Indian Rupees (INR). Any exchange-rate differences are not our responsibility.
- GST: Where GST was charged, we will issue a credit note in accordance with GST law. The GST refund component is subject to applicable rules.
6. Force Majeure
GetUrSnap will not be liable to issue refunds for service unavailability or data loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, cyberattacks, internet infrastructure failures, or acts of war. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to restore service and communicate transparently.
7. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. If you believe we have provided a deficient or defective service, you have the right to seek redressal through the appropriate Consumer Forum. Our Grievance Officer is your first point of contact.

9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be published on our website with at least 14 days' notice before they apply to new purchases. Purchases made before the effective date of any change are governed by the policy in force at the time of purchase.
